What is Job Visibility?

Choose who can see a job: Published, Internal, or Unlisted, all set on Step 1.

Job visibility controls who can find and see a job you post. You choose it when you create or edit a job, on Step 1: Job basics under Who can see this job?

Your three options

  • Published: the job appears on your public careers page and can go out to the job boards. Choose this for most open roles you want to fill quickly.
  • Internal: the job is visible only to people at your company. Good for internal promotions or roles you want to fill from within first.
  • Unlisted: the job stays off your careers page and the boards, and is reachable only by a direct link you share. Handy for a quiet or confidential search.

How to set or change visibility

  1. In the left sidebar, click Jobs.
  2. Find the job, open its three-dot menu, and click Edit.
  3. On Step 1: Job basics, choose an option under Who can see this job?
  4. Save your changes so they take effect.

Tip

Want a link to share privately without listing the role anywhere? Set the job to Unlisted, then use Share Job from the job's three-dot menu to copy its link.
