Need to find one person fast, or everyone who fits a certain description? AvaHR gives you a quick text search plus filters that work together, so you can go from thousands of candidates to exactly the right shortlist.
Quick text search
Use the "Search candidates..." box on the Candidates page to look someone up by keyword, such as a name or a term from their background. There is also a "Search candidates" box in the top bar of the app, so you can find a candidate from anywhere.
Narrowing with filters
For a more targeted search, combine the search box with the "Filters" panel on the left. You can filter by:
- Stage
- Source
- Location
Layer in the status tabs (All, New, Interviewing, Offer, Hired, Rejected) to focus further, and click "Clear all" to start over.
Searching your Talent Pool
Toggle "Talent Pool" to search candidates who are not tied to a job. This is where past applicants and referrals live, so it is a great place to look before you post a new role.
Save a search you repeat
When a search and filter combination is one you will run again, click "Save view" in the "Saved Views" section to keep it a click away.
Tip: Tags make search far more powerful. If you tag standout candidates by skill or license, you can pull them up in seconds when a matching role opens. See "Tagging Candidates".
