# Instructing Employees to Use the Employee Portal

## What to tell your team so they can refer and apply through the portal.

Once your Employee Portal is set up, your team can use it to see open jobs, refer candidates, and apply for other roles. Here is what to share with them so they know how it works.

### Find and share the portal link

1. In the left sidebar, go to **Settings**.
2. Under COMPANY, select **Employee Portal**.
3. Copy your portal address (it looks like **yourcompany.avahr.com**) and send it to your team.

### What employees can do

When someone opens the portal, they can:

- **See open jobs** at your company.
- **Refer a candidate** for a role they think is a good fit.
- **Apply internally** for another position themselves.

**Tip:** Encourage your team to refer people they would want to work with. Referrals are one of the fastest ways to fill a role.
