# Connect Your Indeed Company Account to AvaHR
## Link your Indeed company account to AvaHR to verify your employer and post jobs.
Indeed asks employers to connect their Indeed company account with their applicant tracking system. Making this connection helps verify your employer account and keeps the link between Indeed and AvaHR strong. We recommend completing this setup as soon as you can so your job posting performance stays healthy and you keep access to Indeed's latest employer features.
## Why connect your Indeed company account
When you connect your Indeed company account, you can:
- Verify your company's identity with Indeed
- Improve job posting visibility and performance
- Strengthen the connection between AvaHR and Indeed
- Help ensure a smooth hiring experience
## Before you begin
Make sure you have your Indeed company account login handy. If you do not have an [Indeed company account](https://knowledge.avahr.com/how-to-claim-or-create-your-companys-indeed-page?hsLang=en) yet, you may be prompted to create one during setup.
## How to connect your Indeed company account
These steps happen on Indeed's website. Follow them in order.
1. Go to Indeed and select **Employers / Post Job**.
2. Select your email address in the top right corner.
3. Select **Employer settings**.
4. Select the middle tab, **Organization**.
5. Scroll down and select **Manage ATS**.
6. Search for **AvaHR** and select **Add**.
7. Select **Update**.
8. Your account should now show **AvaHR** as your ATS, and you are connected.
