Connect AvaHR to Indeed

Indeed Apply lets job seekers apply to your AvaHR jobs without leaving Indeed. When someone selects Apply now on your Indeed listing, they complete the application on Indeed itself, and their resume and answers arrive in your AvaHR account within seconds as a new candidate on that job's pipeline.

Nothing to set up in AvaHR

There is no integration to switch on, no API key to copy, and no credentials to exchange. AvaHR is an Indeed Platinum ATS partner, and Indeed job distribution and Indeed Apply are enabled on every AvaHR account by default. Each job you post is sent to Indeed automatically once our team has reviewed it.

Everything below happens inside your own Indeed employer account. It takes about two minutes and it is free. Adding AvaHR does not change your pricing, your job budgets, or any other Indeed account setting.

Before you begin

• An Indeed employer account. Sign in at employers.indeed.com. If your company does not have one yet, create it first, then claim your company page at indeed.com/companies.
• Admin access to that account. The Integrations Hub is reached through Tools › ATS Integrations, which is available to Indeed account admins.
• An active AvaHR account. Any paid plan, trials included. Your company name in AvaHR should match the name on your Indeed company page.
• No duplicate direct postings. Under Indeed's One Source policy, the same role submitted from two sources can be removed. Pause or delete any listing you posted to Indeed directly for a role you are posting through AvaHR.

Staffing and recruiting agencies: Indeed applies separate rules to third party recruiters. If you place candidates on behalf of client companies, contact AvaHR Support before posting so we can confirm your distribution eligibility.

Step 1: Open ATS Integrations in Indeed

Sign in to your Indeed employer account. In the left navigation, select Tools, then select ATS Integrations.

Step 2: Start the Integrations Hub setup

The Welcome to Integrations Hub window opens. Under Does your company use an ATS? choose Yes, then select Next.

Step 3: Add AvaHR

Under Your company's systems, start typing avah and select AvaHR from the suggestions. Select Add, then Done.

Pick AvaHR from the suggestion list rather than typing the full name and selecting Add. Choosing the suggested entry is what matches your account to the AvaHR partner integration.

Step 4: Confirm the association

Indeed confirms that your ATS selection is saved to your account. Select Go to integrations to open the Hub. If your company later adds or changes ATS, you can update the selection at any time in your Indeed Employer settings.

 

 

What happens next

From here the integration runs on its own. You post jobs in AvaHR exactly as you always have.

• Jobs reach Indeed. Each job you post in AvaHR is reviewed by our team against Indeed's posting guidelines, usually within one business day, then goes live on Indeed 12 to 36 hours after approval. You get a confirmation email once it is distributed.
• Candidates apply on Indeed. Your listing carries an Apply now button. Candidates complete the application on Indeed itself, including any screening questions you set on the AvaHR application form.
• Applicants land in AvaHR. Each applicant arrives in the first stage of that job's pipeline with their resume attached, their screening answers, and Indeed recorded as the source. Your confirmation emails, knockout rules, pipeline automations, and candidate scoring all run as normal.
• Outcomes return to Indeed. As you move candidates through your pipeline, AvaHR sends hiring outcomes back to Indeed, which uses those signals to improve the candidates it sends you. Candidate identities and your internal notes are not shared.
• Closed jobs come down. Closing, filling, pausing, or deleting a job in AvaHR removes it from Indeed. Nothing needs to be removed on Indeed's side.

Troubleshooting

I do not see ATS Integrations under Tools

The Integrations Hub is available to admins of the Indeed employer account. If you are signed in as a standard user, ask an account admin to complete these steps, or contact Indeed support to confirm the Hub is enabled for your account.

AvaHR does not appear in the suggestions

Type only the first few letters, such as avah, and wait for the list. Select AvaHR from the list rather than typing the full name yourself, then select Add.

My job is not showing on Indeed

1. Confirm the job reads Active in AvaHR, not In review or Draft.
2. Allow the full 12 to 36 hours after approval.
3. Check that the job is set to public visibility, not internal.
4. Remove any duplicate listing you posted to Indeed directly for the same role.

If all of that looks right, contact AvaHR Support and we will check the job's distribution status directly.

Applications are not arriving

Check the job's Candidates tab first, since Indeed applicants land there rather than in your email inbox. If candidates are visible in AvaHR but you are not being alerted, review your notification settings. If nothing has arrived at all, contact Support with the job title and the date the candidate says they applied.

My company name is wrong on the listing

Update your company profile in AvaHR. The change reaches Indeed on the next sync. If your company page on Indeed does not exist yet, create or claim it first at indeed.com/companies.
