Candidate Profile

Tour the redesigned candidate profile: tabs, the Ava match card, and the Workspace panel.

The candidate profile is your home base for everything about one applicant. From here you can read their resume, message them, track where they are in your pipeline, collect team feedback, and make a decision. It is built as three columns: your candidate list on the left, the profile in the center, and a "Workspace" panel on the right.

The profile header

At the top you will see the candidate's avatar inside a colored score ring, their name, and a pipeline progress chip such as "Review · 4 of 6". Click that chip to open the "Move to stage" menu and move them forward. Next to it are quick contact buttons, "Call", "Text", and "Email", along with social links and a "+" to add more.

The "..." menu holds the rest: Edit Profile, Download Resume, Share Candidate, Move to Position, Archive Candidate or Restore Candidate, and Delete Candidate. If your account is connected to a payroll system, you may also see Send to ADP or Send to Gusto.

Ava, your second opinion

Near the top of the profile is the Ava match card, labeled "Ava · Your second opinion." It gives a plain-language summary of how well the candidate fits the role along with a "Match" percentage. Click "Show my reasoning" to expand Ava's reasoning plus a "Strengths" and "Risks" breakdown. Treat it as a helpful starting point, not a decision made for you.

The tabs

The center of the profile is organized into tabs so related information stays together:

  • Overview: Experience and qualifications, "View Resume", an "Ava Summary", work history, education, certifications, and any cover letter.
  • Messages: An "Email" and "SMS" toggle plus the full conversation thread with this candidate.
  • Interviews: "Send Kit" and "Schedule Interview", along with interview evaluations.
  • Evaluations: Questionnaires and assessments you have sent, plus Team Feedback and External Reviews.
  • Notes: Private team notes. Use @ to mention a teammate and # to add a tag.
  • Files: Upload, download, and restore documents tied to the candidate.
  • Activity: A dated timeline you can filter by All, Messages, Notes, Stage Changes, or Files.

The Workspace panel

The right-hand "Workspace" panel keeps your next actions close. It includes a "Decision" section with "Move to [next stage]", "Send offer", and "Reject candidate", plus "Applied Positions", "Tags" (with an "Add" button), and "History".

Tip: The score ring around the avatar is the same Ava Score you see in the candidates list, so you can prioritize at a glance without opening every profile.
